Alejandro Montaño

Alejandro Montaño has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alejandro is currently the Vice President of Product Operations at 11:11 Systems, starting in March 2023. Previously, they held the role of Vice President of Product Management at iland Cloud from January 2021 to March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product Management and Senior Product Manager at the same company.

Before their time at iland Cloud, Alejandro worked as a Product Manager at NetVersant from March 2015 to April 2016. Alejandro also gained experience as a Business Development Manager Managed Services at Connectica Solutions, LLC between April 2012 and March 2015, where they played a key role in developing and launching various products and services.

Alejandro's career also includes positions at Next Data, where they served as a Sales Director from July 2007 to March 2012 and as a Co-Founder and Solutions Architect from August 2005 to July 2007. Alejandro started their professional journey at Nokia Siemens Networks in April 2004, where they worked as a GPRS/3G Network Engineer and led projects for Telefonica Movistar.

Additionally, Alejandro worked at Getronics in various roles, including Team Manager - CISCO TAC from June 2003 to April 2004, Tech Lead - CISCO TAC from November 2002 to June 2003, and Customer Engineer - CISCO TAC from March 2002 to November 2002. Alejandro began their career as a Product Test Engineer at Motorola Solutions from January 2001 to March 2002, focusing on testing GSM/TDMA mobile phones and software.

Throughout their career, Alejandro has demonstrated expertise in product management, business development, technical leadership, and project management. Alejandro has experience in areas such as cloud services, disaster recovery, and IT managed services. Alejandro has also been involved in go-to-market strategies, marketing plans, and sales processes.

From 1997 to 2001, Alejandro Montaño attended Tecnológico de Monterrey and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communications.
