Lucas Fernandez

Lucas Fernandez serves as the Senior Vice President of Venture Capital at talipot* since June 2021, focusing on building a portfolio of next-generation venture capital managers and small funds. Additionally, Lucas is an Investor and Venture Partner at 1200 VC, contributing to an early-stage venture Fund of Funds and direct investment initiatives. As a member of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) since 2021, Lucas also participated in the Investor Advisory Board at Nex Cubed, which promotes frontier tech companies. Prior experience includes roles at Simplexity Venture Studio Fund, contributing as a Venture Associate, and business development activities at Simplexity Services. Earlier in career, Lucas held analytical positions at StepStone Group and worked with various startups, including Intelligent Light Source and DiversyFund. Lucas is currently pursuing further education at Columbia Business School while holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from San Diego State University.
