Paul Clastre is a seasoned investment professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in venture capital, impact investing, and business design. Currently serving as a Partner at 1200 VC since September 2021, Paul focuses on early-stage investments in sectors like DeepTech in the US and digitalization in Latin America, promoting sustainable development. As the Founder and Product Designer at JOKKO App, Paul is redesigning professional identification for emerging markets. Additionally, Paul has acted as an angel investor and advisor since February 2018, supporting projects with economic and social potential. With previous roles including Investment Consultant and Impact Investment Associate, Paul has developed a strong background in deal sourcing, due diligence, and value creation for impactful ventures. Paul holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Sustainability Science & Technology and an Executive Programme in Impact Measurement, demonstrating a robust academic foundation in environmental economics and sustainable development.
