Shelby Gills

Shelby Gills has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role at 120Water as the LSLI Practice Lead & Program Consulting Manager since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Program Consultant at the same company from August 2022 to May 2023. Before joining 120Water, Shelby worked at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies where they held the position of Aquarist from January 2020 to August 2022 and had previously worked as an Exhibit Educator from August 2018 to January 2020. Shelby also gained experience at the Center for Earth and Environmental Science as an Education Outreach Assistant from December 2017 to July 2018 and as a Service Learning Assistant from April 2016 to December 2017. Additionally, Shelby worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the IUPUI Department of Earth Sciences, conducting field and lab work for Dr. Broxton Bird and Dr. William Gilhooly's Paleoclimatology and Geochemistry Lab from May 2017 to August 2017.

Shelby Gills obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in the period of 2013-2017.
