Jade Burnside began their work experience in 1998 as a Consultant-Contractor at the Department of Foreign Affairs, where they worked as a liaison officer for government delegations, developed curriculum and training for electronic information systems, and researched and prepared briefing materials and reports. In 2000, they joined Canada World Youth as a Program Supervisor and Program Officer until 2003. From 2003 to the present, Jade Burnside has been the CEO of Ahead of the Web. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Marketing Infrastructure at 123Dentist.
Jade Burnside attended Douglas College from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Computer Science. From 1996 to 2000, they attended Simon Fraser University and pursued a degree in Political Science.
