Jacqueline Akpan, CPA has a wide range of work experience in the accounting field. Jacqueline began their career in 2010 as a Secretary at Akrosamic Investment Limited, where they assisted customers and scheduled appointments of a 100+ client a day, as well as conducted regimented and efficient clerical duties such as organizing files, record keeping and answering phone calls on behalf of the manager. In 2012, they became a Volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. From 2012-2014, they were an Administrative Support at Temple University, where they served as a liaison 7 hours per week among 20+ faculty members, the students and the Department of Journalism faculty chair. In 2013 and 2014, they were a Corporate Management Intern and Audit Intern at KPMG US, where they shadowed various accounting professionals and worked proficiently at various client sites in order to gain a broad understanding of various industries. In 2014, they were a Fox Peer Teacher at the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where they tutored intermediate corporate finance to juniors and seniors. From 2016-2018, they were the President of Helping Hands Ministry at Bright Hope Baptist Church, and from 2018-present, they have been a Controller and Senior Accountant at 1315 Capital.

Jacqueline Akpan, CPA holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, which they obtained between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls between 2004 and 2010. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the AICPA.
