Dana Smith

Dana Smith is an experienced anchor and multi-skilled journalist with a proven track record in both television and print media. Currently, Dana serves as an anchor for 13News Now (WVEC) since 2019, delivering news coverage at multiple time slots while expertly developing story ideas under tight deadlines. Prior to this role, Dana worked as a multimedia journalist and anchor at WDTN-TV from 2017 to 2019, where responsibilities included reporting live on severe weather and crime scenes, as well as covering significant national events. Earlier experience includes broadcasting and reporting for The Nassau Guardian Newspaper and The Tribune News Network, contributing to hard news and feature stories. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Journalism from Tiffin University and has further education from Regent's University London.
