Alexis Offen has a diverse work experience in various sectors. Starting from 2023, they worked as the Executive Director at 14th Street Y. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they held the position of Chief Operations and Strategy Officer at Greenwich House, where they led strategic planning and operations. Before that, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Principal at Alexis Offen Consulting, providing consulting services to mission-driven organizations.
From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Trust for Governors Island, where they played a key role in increasing revenue and developing amenities. From 2013 to 2017, they held the position of Vice President, Real Estate Development at Empire State Development, managing various projects.
Alexis Offen also worked in the public sector, serving as Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor at the New York City Mayor's Office of Operations from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they worked as a lawyer in the Government Affairs and Real Estate divisions at Greenberg Traurig LLP from 2006 to 2009.
Alexis started their career as the Deputy Public Policy Director at Andrew Cuomo for Attorney General in 2005 and as a Community Relations Liaison at New York University in 2002.
Alexis Offen has a BA in Government from Harvard University. In 2010-2011, they attended Coro Leadership New York, and later pursued a JD degree at Fordham University School of Law.
