David Stallings is an accomplished theatre professional with extensive experience in cultivating new work in New York City. Currently serving as Associate Artistic Director and Director of Arts + Culture at 14th Street Y since July 2015, Stallings also holds the position of Artistic Director at Manhattan Theatre Works, where involvement has spanned from October 2006 to the present. Notably, Stallings developed a reading series, The Newborn Festival, which showcased new works to NYC audiences, contributing to their development into full productions. Stallings holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Santa Fe University of Art and Design, earned between 1996 and 2000.
