Philip Treviño has an extensive work experience in the field of theater and dance production. Philip has worked as the Director of Production for Arts and Culture at 14th Street Y since 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Stage Manager and Lighting Designer at Sensedance from 2008 onwards. From 2014, they worked as a Lighting Designer for Kymera Dance Company. Philip had a long association with Marymount Manhattan College, starting as an Adjunct Professor in 2006 and later serving as the Technical Director for the Dance Department until 2022. Philip also worked as an Electrician for New York Theatre Workshop from 2002 to 2015. Philip has served in various roles including Stage Manager for Trisha Brown Dance Company, Lighting Designer and Stage Manager for Camille A Brown and Dancers, Lighting Designer for CorbinDances and Reuben Graciani Dance Projects, and Designer and Production Stage Manager for Pam Tanowitz Dance.

Philip Treviño attended San Francisco State University from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama.
