Jana Nelson

Jana Nelson is an experienced publicity and communications professional, currently serving as the Publicity Manager at 1517 Media since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jana worked at AmplifyDMC as a Senior Consultant from March 2013 to September 2021, focusing on creative branding solutions for non-profits and social enterprises. Jana's extensive background includes positions such as PR and Development Consultant at J. Robbins Publicity, Campaign Coordinator at The House of Hope Presbyterian Church, and Development Associate at Milkweed Editions, among others. An alumnus of the University of Minnesota with a BA in English, Jana is currently pursuing further education at the University of Denver.
