Sandy Amundson

Vice President For Human Resources & Organizational Development at 1517 Media

Sandy Amundson has over 20 years of experience in human resources and organizational development. Sandy started their career as the Director of Human Resources at The College of St. Catherine from 1995 to 1999. Sandy then joined 1517 Media in 1999 as the Vice President for Human Resources & Organizational Development, where they played a key role in designing and developing resources for the Christian church. In 2010, they moved to Luther Seminary and held the position of Vice President for Human Resources & Organizational Development until 2015. During their tenure at Luther Seminary, they built the human resources operations from scratch and assisted in the recruitment of key executive positions.

Sandy Amundson holds a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Truman State University. Sandy also has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Minnesota Morris. Additionally, Sandy has obtained certifications in "OneDrive for Business Essential Training" from LinkedIn and is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
