Assistant Public Defender at 15th Judicial Circuit

Alexandra Luce is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Public Defender for the 15th Judicial Circuit since August 2022. Previously, Alexandra worked as a Rule XX Student Practitioner at the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, representing indigent criminal defendants. Alexandra's legal background includes a legal internship with The Exoneration Initiative, a Children’s Legal Services internship at the Florida Department of Children and Families, and summer legal internships with United Franchise Group and the State Attorney's Office in the Homicide Unit. Alexandra also served as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Anabelle Dias P.A., where responsibilities included drafting legal documents and preparing trial materials. Alexandra holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Florida State University.
