Alicia Gift CPA, CFE

Alicia Gift CPA, CFE has extensive experience in the accounting and auditing fields. Alicia began their career in 2002 as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they specialized in investment management, attesting, and other agreed upon procedures. Alicia worked with clients such as State Street Bank & Trust Company, UBS and International Fund Services, and was knowledgeable in US GAAP requirements. In 2007, they moved to RNK Capital as Financial Controller and acted as Interim Chief Financial Officer for one year. In this role, they led and coordinated key areas of financial reporting and oversight, and managed the oversight and control of the funds' books and records. In 2016, Alicia joined 180 Degree Capital Corp. as Senior Controller.

Alicia Gift CPA, CFE has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Baruch College from 1997 to 1999 and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Accounting from CUNY New York City College of Technology from 1994 to 1996. Alicia also holds certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Public Accountant, Licensed in the State of New York, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant Designation.
