Francis Acquah

Associate Scientist, Biology at 1910 Genetics

Francis Acquah is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and pharmacology. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist at 1910 Genetics since June 2022, Francis previously held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Translational Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, OUHSC from June 2018 to June 2022. Francis began a research career as a Graduate Research Assistant during this period and also served as a Graduate Student at GPiBS from July 2017 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (2017-2022), a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2014-2016), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from the same institution (2009-2013).
