Sergey Volkov

Sergey Volkov is the Executive Director at 1C Game Studios and has an extensive background in HR within the GameDev industry. Sergey previously served as the HR Director at both 1C Entertainment and 1C Game Studios, and held the position of Head of GameDev Practice at Spice Recruitment from 2011 to 2017, leading a recruitment team and managing client accounts across multiple regions. In addition to recruitment, Sergey also taught a course on career consulting at the Higher School of Economics from 2021 to 2022 and worked as a Consultant/Team Lead at Imperia Kadrov Holding from 2007 to 2011. Sergey holds a degree in Personnel Management from the Russian State Social University, which was attended from 2001 to 2007.
