Dmitry Afanasyev

Dmitry Afanasyev is a Senior Software Engineer at 1C Company since June 2019, specializing in the design and implementation of cloud-based accounting and inventory management software for the US market, focusing on user experience, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Prior to this role, Dmitry served as the Head of Business Analysis and 1C Development at Service Plus Group in Moscow from October 2008 to June 2019, where successful migration from legacy systems to new business software was achieved through strategic planning and stakeholder coordination. Dmitry also worked as a 1C Programmer, implementing and supporting business applications on the 1C: Enterprise framework. Dmitry holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation and completed a management program in Information Technologies at the Higher School of Economics, alongside an engineering degree in Economics and IT from Samara State Technical University.
