Peter Yuan Pan

Peter Yuan Pan is a seasoned professional in early-stage investing and blockchain technology, currently serving as a Partner at 1kx since August 2020. Peter co-founded Hydra Ventures in May 2022, focusing on investment DAOs, and was also a co-founder of MetaCartel Ventures from November 2019 to October 2023, where Peter played a pivotal role in investing in Ethereum's early end user applications. Additionally, Peter was a key figure in creating Ethereum's first dedicated founder community at MetaCartel from September 2018 to December 2022. Their earlier experience includes roles as a product manager at Tenzorum Project and lead designer positions at Osara Health and 1SCOPE, showcasing a strong background in user experience and product design. Peter's educational background includes a departure from computer science studies at UNSW and completion of education at Sydney Boys High School.
