Sarah Kelman

Sarah Kelman, PhD, is a Senior User Experience Researcher at 1Password since July 2023, previously serving as a User Experience Researcher at Meta, where focus was on enhancing user experiences within Ads Manager. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Product Researcher at Strava, leading user research for product launches, and as a User Experience Researcher at Earnin, where research efforts significantly improved task flow and key metrics. Earlier career involvement at Equinix included program development for diversity and inclusion, along with academic roles at the University of California, Santa Cruz, as an instructor of anthropology. An ethnographic researcher during a Fulbright Scholarship contributed to in-depth research on entrepreneurship in Malaysia, and initial management experience as Operations Supervisor at McMaster-Carr encompassed overseeing large teams and operations. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Master’s in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a BA in Anthropology and English from the University of Virginia.
