Kathleen Thompson, MBA, Welch Scholar has an extensive work experience. Kathleen began their career in 2000 as a Guest Service Manager at Target. In 2002, they moved to Raindance Communications as a Regional Account Manager, where they were responsible for managing and growing key accounts. In 2006, they became an Advocate/Case Manager at the Cherokee Family Violence Center, where they managed crisis situations and identified resources for victims. In 2007, they were promoted to Vice President; Customer Experience at Copper Services. In 2013, they became President of Copper Services by PGi and Director, Acquisition & Integration at PGi. In 2014, they were appointed President of 1Source International. In 2017, they became CEO of 1Source Events LLC. Currently, they are a Senior Dean, Honors Program Dean, and Distinguished Professor; Business at Strayer University.
