John Buhrmaster

John Buhrmaster began their work experience in 1986 at the 1st National Bank of Scotia, where they held various roles such as Teller, Branch Manager, Collections Manager, Loan Administration Manager, Senior Vice President of Technology, and Senior Lending Officer. John was later appointed as President and CEO of the bank, a position they held until 2005. In 2013, Buhrmaster joined Scautub Agency as Chairman and served in that role until December 2020. In 2014, they also became involved with ICBA, first serving as Chairman from March 2014 to March 2015, and then as Past Chairman. Most recently, in 2024, Buhrmaster became a Class A Director at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

John Buhrmaster attended Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management from 1982 to 1986, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems and Marketing.
