Tobie Gunby

Tobie Gunby currently serves as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at 1st Summit Bank since March 2024, and has held the role of Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at AmeriServ Financial Bank since April 2008, where responsibilities included leading the Human Resources Department and collaborating on human capital strategies. Additionally, Tobie contributes as Associate Faculty at Southern New Hampshire University and as an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine. Past educational roles include adjunct positions at Saint Francis University and Mount Aloysius College, as well as instruction at the University of Phoenix. With a robust academic background, including a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Tobie holds multiple certifications in coaching and educational technology, and possesses extensive experience in various human resources capacities across several organizations.
