Meiyu Liu

Meiyu Liu is a seasoned professional in translation and localization, currently serving as a Taiwan Traditional Chinese Localization specialist for Beijing Kunlun Tech Co Ltd since February 2024. Liu also provides translation and proofreading services for Gibson Research Consultancy, focusing on the accuracy of English translations in the medical field. Additionally, Liu works as a part-time English substitute teacher at Xinshi Elementary School and lectures on "Chinese Seven-word Poems." With experience in translating sports car manuals for SUCCESSGLO PTE LTD and having contracts with multiple organizations including Lionbridge and Pactera, Liu has established a comprehensive freelance career since 2016. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Tamkang University, participation in an Interpreters Training Program at National Taiwan Normal University, and a Junior College degree in Computer Science from China University of Technology. Liu is further enhancing expertise through professional education in AI and Machine Learning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, anticipated to complete in August 2024.
