Denys Ustymenko, MBA

Denys Ustymenko has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Denys started their career in 2011 as a Senior Economist at Nadra Bank, where they gained practical banking knowledge and skills. In this role, they were responsible for settling bad debts, drafting claim documents, maintaining client databases, and representing the bank in court.

In 2012, Denys moved on to Parimatch Tech, where they initially worked as a Project Finance Analyst. Here, they focused on financial analysis and reporting, implementation of accounting systems, budgeting, and evaluating the efficiency of betting shops. Denys later transitioned to the role of Treasurer, where they worked closely with the CFO and finance team. Their responsibilities included project controlling, capacity planning, strategic and tactical analyses, cash flow forecasting, treasury reporting, and payroll management.

In 2016, Denys joined PokerMatch as the CFO and Partner. In this role, they had a wide range of responsibilities, including establishing and maintaining partnerships, preparing internal and external reports, managing international structures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing personnel management. Denys successfully completed an M&A deal and facilitated the sale of the company at the end of 2021.

In 2020, Denys became the Founder and Business Owner of XGen Solutions, where they combined their expertise in finance and entrepreneurship to build their own business.

Most recently, in April 2022, Denys took on the position of Managing Partner and CEO at 1TN, where they hold executive leadership responsibilities.

Denys Ustymenko, MBA, has a strong educational background in business administration and management. Denys earned their Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine, where they studied from 2007 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Denys has also earned several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field. Denys obtained AML Foundations for Cryptoasset and Blockchain certification from ACAMS in May 2023. In June 2022, they completed CS198.2x: Blockchain Technology certification from edX, and in May 2022, they obtained CS198.1x: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies certification from the same institution. These certifications reflect their dedication to staying updated with the latest developments in the field of finance and technology.
