Samer Mostafa, CMA

Samer Mostafa, CMA has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Samer began their career in 1996 as an Accountant at Eurometal Co. Ltd. After a year, they moved to Shababic Newspaper (Arabic Newspaper for youth) as a Senior Accountant. In 1998, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Auditor. In 2001, they moved to British American Tobacco as a Commercial Finance Manager - East Europe, Middle East and Africa, and later as a Senior Marketing/Business Finance Manager - Norrth Africa and Management Accounting Manager. From 2012 to 2014, they were Head of Finance and IT at Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company (ACCBC). From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Microsoft as a Finance Change Lead - Middle East and Africa MEA and Chief Financial Officer. In 2019, they co-founded 1Trolley, an on demand pick up and delivery app. Most recently, they were the Group CFO at Harvest Foods Egypt since 2021.

Samer Mostafa obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Cairo University between 1992 and 1996. In 2004, they obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). In 2005, they completed the CMA program and was certified by the IMA.
