Matthew Smith, CPA, CA, is the Vice President of Finance at 1VALET. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Finance at Converge Technology Solutions Corp., where they led external financial reporting for over 30 operating entities and managed treasury and tax functions. Before that, Matthew was the Director of Finance at Espial, overseeing significant projects like the revenue reporting transition to IFRS 15. Matthew has also held financial positions at Canadian Bank Note Company, Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, and EY, gaining extensive experience in financial analysis and reporting throughout their career. They hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Carleton University.
