Barry Papoff

Barry Papoff has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Barry currently serves as a Senior Consultant at Apex Capital Advisors Inc., a boutique M&A and strategic advisory firm focused on technology businesses. Prior to this, Barry was the Head of Manufacturing Operations at 2020 Armor, where they played a key role in overseeing manufacturing processes. Barry also worked as an Advisor in Hardware Engineering & Manufacturing at tiptap and as a Member at York Angel Investors. Additionally, Barry held the position of Principal at Cammages Corporation.

Their earlier roles include serving as an Advisor and later as a Partner & COO at ARCX Inc., where they were responsible for bridging the factory floor with manufacturing execution systems. Barry was also the Vice President of Operations at Encelium Technologies, a market leader in networked lighting control, where they successfully grew and sold the company within five years. Prior to this, Barry was the Vice President of Engineering - Video Processing & Distribution at Harris Corporation and the Vice President of Design Services and Co-founder at Artaflex. Barry started their career as the President and Co-founder of Baranti Group Inc., an electronics hardware/software design engineering firm serving major OEM brands.

Barry Papoff's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University. Barry also pursued an MBA at The California State University. Additionally, they gained expertise in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. Barry further expanded their knowledge in TPS & Lean through their studies at the Toyota Production System Support Center. Lastly, they acquired skills in Product Management from the Pragmatic Marketing Institute.
