Mingfu Zhu

Mingfu Zhu has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position at 20n Bio as the Founder and CEO. Previously, they founded and served as the CEO of Panorama Medicine, a company focused on using human transcriptome modulation to treat genetic diseases. At Geneseeq Technology Inc., they worked as a Consultant and later became the Chief Technology Officer. Mingfu was also the Chief Information Officer at Cloudhealth Genomics Ltd.

Mingfu Zhu has expertise in bioinformatics and genomics, having served as a Director of Bioinformatics at Centrillion Biosciences, Tute Genomics, and as a Software Engineer specializing in machine learning at Human Longevity, Inc. Mingfu also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Brigham Young University and an Assistant Professor at Duke University.

Throughout their career, Mingfu Zhu has demonstrated their leadership abilities by founding companies, raising funds, and building teams. Mingfu has collaborated with world-class scientists and has made significant contributions to the field of genomics.

Mingfu Zhu pursued their education in a progressive and diligent manner. Mingfu commenced their academic journey at the University of Science and Technology of China in 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2003. Building upon their foundation, Zhu enrolled at Clemson University in 2003 to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, which they successfully completed in 2009. In the pursuit of further expertise, Zhu later joined Duke University as a Postdoctoral Associate in the field of Bioinformatics from 2009 to 2012.
