Yvonne Hofstetter

Yvonne Hofstetter has held various roles in the technology and academic fields over the past two decades. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of 21strategies and a Professor of Digitization and Society at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. Yvonne has also been a book author, essayist, and keynote speaker since 2013. In 2019, they became a Member of the Commission on Democracy and Technology at Chatham House. In 2018, they became a Member of the Data Privacy Advisory Board at Deutsche Telekom. In 2015, they became a Member of the Ethikbeirat at Institut für Digitale Ethik Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart. From 2009 to 2018, they were the Managing Director and Chief Product Manager at Teramark Technologies GmbH. From 2005 to 2009, they held the role of VP Finance and Operations and Product Management at VH Finance Technologies Limited, where they were responsible for business planning and execution and investor relations. From 2004 to 2005, they were the Product Manager at Altrilog SAS Branch Office Germany, where they worked on adaptive supply chains. Finally, from 2001 to 2004, they were a Product Manager at EXE Technologies, Inc.

Yvonne Hofstetter attended The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from 1985 to 1990, earning a Dipl. iur. (Univ.) in German Law. Yvonne then continued their studies at the University of Zurich from 1990 to 1995, studying Swiss Law. Additionally, they obtained a certification from Newchip Accelerator in August 2021.
