Josh Sheng Chen

Mr. Sheng Chen, also known as Josh Sheng Chen, is one of the co-founders and has served as the executive chairman of the Board since the incorporation of the Company. He has been the chief executive officer since the inception to October 2015. Mr. Chen has been instrumental to the development and success of the business. Mr. Chen provides vision, overall management, and strategic decision-making relating to marketing, investment planning, and corporate development. Mr. Chen has more than 20 years’ experience in the internet infrastructure industry in China and started his entrepreneur career in 1990 when he was a sophomore at Tsinghua University. Mr. Chen founded the business in May 1996 and started the first carrier-neutral data center in China in July 1999. Mr. Chen currently also serves as a director of Cloud Tech Services Limited and Yipu Chain Network (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Chen received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University in 1991. Mr. Chen is a member of the Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club and a managing director of the Internet Society of China.
