Juan Pelaez

Juan Pelaez is an experienced technology leader currently serving as CTO at 23blocks since October 2019, focusing on Backend as a Service and API-first microservices. Additionally, Juan has been the CTO of 3Metas since November 2008, overseeing project budgets and quality across various departments. Previous roles include Chair of the Board at Intercambio Uniting Communities and leadership positions at Globant, where responsibilities included managing software project lifecycles and defining architecture as a .NET Architect. Juan also has a background in education as an MS Certification Courses Instructor and experience as an Implementation Manager at Studiocom and Microsoft. With a strong history in developing and implementing innovative software solutions, Juan has held key technical roles at companies such as Gattaca S.A. and Intercom. Juan holds a degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and completed high school at Colegio Antonio Nariño.
