David Bryant is an experienced automotive professional currently serving as Chief Mechanic and Car Chief at 23XI Racing since November 2021. Bryant previously held positions as Racecar Quality Manager and Car Chief at Chip Ganassi Racing Teams from December 2011 to November 2021. Additional experience includes several roles at Hendrick Motorsports, including Car Chief from March 2007 to December 2011, and serving as Front End Mechanic during two separate tenures at Hendrick Motorsports, totaling four years. Previous roles also include Car Chief at Evernham Motorsports and various front-end mechanic positions at Melling Racing Enterprises and Hank Parker Racing. David Bryant holds a degree in Motorsports Management from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, obtained between 1998 and 2000.

23XI Racing – pronounced twenty-three eleven – was founded by NBA legend Michael Jordan and three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin in 2020. Rising NASCAR stars Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick are the team’s drivers. 23XI Racing’s No. 23 Toyota Camry made its NASCAR Cup Series debut at the Daytona 500 on February 14, 2021, at Daytona International Speedway. The team then expanded to add a second full-time entry with the No. 45 Toyota Camry and occasional third car entry with the No. 67 Toyota Camry.
