Ahmed Halaby

Ahmed Halaby has extensive work experience in various roles related to software development and architecture. Ahmed is currently working as a Senior Solution Architect/Lead Developer at guard.me International Insurance, where they are responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cloud migration strategy, designing cloud-based solutions, and modernizing existing applications. Prior to this, Ahmed worked at 247 Labs as a Senior Solutions Architect, Senior Backend & Dev Ops Engineer, and Senior Technical Lead. Ahmed has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Tawfeer Market, where they played a key role in the development and growth of their quick commerce app. Additionally, Ahmed has worked as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Poliigon and gained freelancing experience as a Senior Backend & Dev Ops Engineer at Upwork. Ahmed has also held positions at Spren (Elite HRV), travelfox, PlusXMS, and ITplusARAB, contributing to various software engineering and dev ops roles.

Ahmed Halaby obtained a Nanodegree in Cloud Computing from Udacity in 2022, specializing in Advanced Cloud DevOps. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Alexandria University between 2004 and 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Ahmed received an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in February 2023. In 2022, they also completed a certification in Advanced Cloud DevOps from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in Egypt.
