Matt Riemersma has worked in the Information Technology field since 2005. Matt began their career as a Technology Intern for Cedar Springs Public Schools, where they were responsible for diagnosing hardware and software problems, hardware repair, operating system and software installation, and warranty support. Matt also worked as a Floor Salesman for Radio Shack during the summer of 2005, due to their knowledge of computers, electronics, and technical equipment, as well as their personable nature and bi-lingual skills. In 2007, Matt began working for Maximize Technologies as a Network Consultant, where they were responsible for organizing networks, documenting technology, workstation and server hardware preventative maintenance, VPN setup, antivirus management, malware removal, wireless network implementation, terminal services and thin client configuration and support, network cable/equipment installation and management, DNS management, printer support, e-mail client setup and maintenance, spam prevention and protection, mobile phone setup and support, and scripting. Finally, in 2012, Matt joined 24hourtek, Inc. as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager and Senior Systems Engineer.

Matt Riemersma attended Willard High School from 1999 to 2003. Matt then went on to Calvin University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems with a field of study in Computer Information Systems in 2007.
