Gavin White

Gavin White has over 30 years of experience in the finance industry. Gavin is currently the Chief Executive Officer of 26 Degrees, a role they have held since November 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer at 26 Degrees from June 2013 to November 2015.

In 2017, Gavin joined INV Inc. as a Founding Director and later took on the role of Global Head of Strategic Relationships from August 2018 to June 2023. Gavin also served as a Director on the Invast Securities Board from June 2017 to October 2020.

Before joining INV Inc., Gavin worked at Cantor Fitzgerald as the Managing Director and Head of CFDs and Prime Services APAC from November 2011 to February 2013. Prior to that, they were the Head of FX and CFD Trading Asia Pacific at MF Global from December 2008 to November 2011.

Gavin has also held positions at City Index as the Head of Business Development from 2006 to 2008, Vulpine Capital Management as a Principal from 2002 to 2006, ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as the Head of G10 Trading from 2000 to 2002, Barclays Capital as the Head of FX Trading from 1999 to 2000, and Bankers Trust Australia as the Head of FX Trading from April 1998 to October 1999.

Their career in finance began at Citi in 1990, where they served as the Head of FX Trading for 8 years.

Gavin White obtained a Bachelor of Economics degree in International Economic Theory and International Political Theory from the University of Sydney from 1985 to 1987. Gavin later earned a Diploma of Financial Markets from the Australian Financial Markets Association. In 2009, they completed the HKSI Licensing Exam for Securities and Futures Intermediaries at the Hong Kong Securities Institute. In 2011, they completed Module 1A - Dealing in Securities and Futures and Module 6A - Securities and Futures (inc OTC Derivatives and Structured Products) from the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore.
