Thorsten Rutz

Thorsten Rutz is a highly skilled VFX and set supervisor, currently freelancing with multiple companies including 27km and DELI Creative Collective since 2022. Rutz also serves as a senior compositor at WE ARE MAGIC and has held the position of senior producer for project management at The Marmalade. Additional freelance roles include VFX and set supervision at Riff Raff Films and INFECTED GmbH, as well as virtual production producer for Hogarth, managing a significant Rolls Royce film project. Rutz's expertise extends to VFX supervision at SuperCine GmbH and senior compositing at KAEPTN Postproduktion GmbH. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Medienbetriebswirtschaft from Euro FH, a certification in media technology from Hanseatische Akademie für Marketing + Management GmbH, and a course in The Element of AI from the University of Helsinki. Recently, Rutz has been enhancing skills at Sprecher Akademie since April 2023.
