Tyler Johnson

VP, Sales at 280 Group

Tyler is Vice President of Sales at 280 Group. Tyler brings nearly 30 years of experience across a variety of go-to-market roles including product management, product marketing, business development, channels, and sales. He enjoys and excels at frontier work, and helping companies grow through new product introduction, new market development, and geographic expansion. Tyler’s experience includes working with 18 different industries, in both the private and public sector. He also has extensive global experience developing new markets in EMEA and APAC and has lived and worked in Australia and India at different stages of his career.

Tyler is passionate about new experiences, personal development, and life-long learning. He brings that passion and energy to his work with 280 Group, to coaching and developing others, and to daily life. Tyler enjoys travel, learning about cultures and history, studying languages (Spanish, Japanese, German, and dabbling in others), sports, fitness, and SCUBA diving. Tyler and his family are also passionate about food, including cooking interesting meals at home and exploring new restaurants of all types.

Originally from Newport Beach, California, Tyler holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he studied Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan where he focused on entrepreneurship and international business.
