Corey Rountree is currently the Lead Scientist at 28bio since 2025. They previously held the position of Lead Scientist at AxoSim in 2020 and served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Visiting Research Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2018 to 2019. Corey earned a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University (2011-2015) and a Master of Engineering from Rice University (2010-2011), where they also completed their Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering (2006-2010).
