Girinath G. Pillai

Girinath G. Pillai has a diverse work experience spanning various scientific roles and organizations. Girinath G. is currently working at Sygnature Discovery as a Lead Scientist since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Scientist II at Sygnature Discovery from April 2022 to September 2022.

Girinath G. served as a Research Advisor at Pondicherry University starting in November 2021.

Girinath also holds the position of Program Coordinator, Drug Discovery Hackathon India at the Ministry of Education, Government of India since May 2020, with an expected end date in March 2023.

Before joining Sygnature Discovery and Pondicherry University, they worked as a Research Scientist at Nyro Research India from January 2020 to April 2022.

From 2016 to 2022, Girinath worked as a Scientific Officer at Zastra Innovations.

Girinath G. Pillai holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational Chemistry from the University of Tartu. Girinath G. also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Kerala. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications in Generative AI from LinkedIn and Introduction to Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) from Google Cloud Skills Boost in 2023.
