Jenny Rickardson

Jenny Rickardson has diverse work experience in the field of psychology and research. Jenny'smost recent role is as Chief Psychologist at 29k since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Licensed Psychologist, Researcher, and Content Producer at 29k from August 2020 to September 2021. Additionally, Jenny has been an Affiliated Researcher at Karolinska Institutet since August 2020, focusing on digital psychological interventions for somatic problems in Karin Jensen's research group.

Before their current positions, Jenny worked as a Workshop Host at Finish On Time starting from November 2018. From September 2013 to December 2020, they were a Psychologist at Karolinska University Hospital. During this tenure, they also pursued their Ph.D. at Karolinska Institutet from 2016 to May 2020. Jenny Rickardson has a diverse education history. Jenny started their education in 1990 at Västerhöjdsgymnasiet but the field of study is not specified. Jenny then attended Kalmar University from 1993 to 1996 and obtained a Fil kand degree in Medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap, journalistik. In 1998, they studied Film/Cinema/Video Studies at Stockholm University for one year.

Later, Jenny pursued their Master's degree in Psychology at Stockholm University from 2003 to 2009. Jenny then obtained a certification as a Licensed Psychologist from The National Board of Health and Welfare in January 2012.

In 2016, Jenny enrolled as a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet, specializing in digital psychological treatment for chronic pain. Jenny'sstudies in this field continued until 2020. During their time as a PhD student, they also attended Karolinska University Hospital from 2017 to 2018 to study Innovation and leadership.

In 2019, they briefly attended BI Norwegian Business School to study Entrepreneurship in health care.
