Bing Chen

Bing Chen has extensive experience in the technology industry. Bing began their career in 1994 as a Staff Respiratory Therapist at The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. In 1998, they moved to St. Mary's Medical Center as a Staff Respiratory Therapist. In 1999, they joined marchFIRST as a Client Services Project Manager. In 2001, they joined Avante Global as an Engagement Director, where they developed and launched Peakcare dynamic video processing system for WorkCover, NSW Government, Australia, as well as PACE (which later became Connect mass notification system) and Prophecy Messenger solutions. In 2004, they joined The NTI Group as Senior Director of Client Success, where they created and institutionalized a customer relationship management (CRM) / customer experience management program. In 2008, they joined Blackboard Connect as Vice President of Product Management and Vice President of Product Development. In 2015, they joined Age of Learning as VP Product Management, Enterprise Product Group, where they directed and contributed to the activities for product management, product development, product marketing, and customer success teams. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer of 2BeLive.

Bing Chen completed their MBA from Loyola Marymount University, College of Business Administration in 2000, with an emphasis in Information Technology and a minor in Marketing. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cariopulmonary Sciences with Business Emphasis from Loma Linda University between 1987 and 1993. In 2008, they obtained a Pragmatic Marketing Certificate from Pragmatic Marketing. Bing also holds Registered Pulmonary Function Therapist (RFPT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certifications from The National Board for Respiratory Care.
