Elisapeta Selesele

Elisapeta Selesele has over 18 years of work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Elisapeta most recently worked as the Head of Infrastructure & Operations at 2degrees, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Head of Networks & Infrastructure at Vocus New Zealand from June 2020 to July 2022. Elisapeta also served as the Network Operations Manager at Vocus New Zealand from May 2016 to May 2020.

Before joining Vocus, Elisapeta worked at M2 Group Ltd as the NOC Manager from April 2015 to April 2016. Elisapeta started their career at CallPlus in 2007, where they held several roles including NOC Manager (November 2012 to March 2015), 2IC Technical Centre (December 2010 to November 2012), 2IC Business Support Operations (October 2009 to November 2010), and Business Technical Specialist (August 2007 to September 2009).

Elisapeta also has experience working at Computer Services Limited as a Help Desk Team Lead (September 2005 to August 2007) and a Training Consultant (February 2003 to August 2005).

Elisapeta Selesele completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Australian Institute of Business from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they also earned a Graduate Certificate in Management from the same institute from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree in Network and Communication from Auckland University of Technology from 2012 to 2014. Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Elisapeta received a Diploma in Electrotechnology with a focus on Computer Engineering from Otago Polytechnic | Te Pūkenga from 2000 to 2002. Elisapeta has also obtained several certifications including ISMS ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor certification from BSI in 2021, ITIL 4 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2020, Implementing ISO 27001:2013 - ISMS certification from BSI in 2019, NZ CIMS certification from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority in 2018, and ITIL v3 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2016.
