Alexey Morozov

Alexey Morozov has extensive work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Alexey started their career as a Junior Developer at Top-Kniga in 2000 and gradually progressed to become a Lead Developer. Alexey worked on internal software for the retail department, utilizing technologies such as MS SQL Server, Visual C++, COM/COM+, ATL, MFC, and more. In 2005, they joined Data Dynamics as a Developer, where they worked on the ActiveAnalysis project, specializing in OLAP, data visualization, and business intelligence. In 2008, they moved back to Top-Kniga as a Lead Developer, being responsible for the development of a new internet shop.

In 2011, Alexey joined 2GIS, a local search service, as a System Architect, where they contributed to the development of an internal software project for their call center. Alexey utilized various technologies including C#, .NET, WinForms, SQL Server, ElasticSearch, and more. Alexey later took on the role of Project Manager and successfully managed projects within the company. From 2014 to 2020, they served as the Head of a development unit at 2GIS, overseeing four teams and managing relationships with internal customers, including the production department. Alexey'smain responsibilities included planning, assessment of actual results, portfolio management, and receiving customer and user feedback. As of August 2020, Alexey holds the position of Chief Technical Officer for 2GIS.KIT.

Alexey Morozov completed their education from 1997 to 2002 at Novosibirsk State University (NSU), where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Informatics and Computer Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Professional and Programming in C# Specialist, in September 2013.
