Ilya Ivanov

Ilya Ivanov has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ilya started their career at Parallels in 2007 as a QA engineer, conducting regression testing and functional testing. Ilya also performed automated API and UI testing using PHP/Java and Selenium, as well as scripting with Python. From 2010 to 2013, Ilya worked at 2GIS as a Linux Software Developer, specializing in backend development in C++/Python and automated deployment development. Ilya then took on the role of Team Lead, managing a team at 2GIS for a brief period.

In 2013, Ilya worked as a Clojure Developer at Echo, where they were responsible for the development of a distributed Clojure-based data gathering solution. Ilya worked on projects involving Clojure, Ansible, and RabbitMQ.

From 2014 to 2020, Ilya worked as a Full-stack Developer at Conversant Solutions Pte Ltd, gaining experience in full-stack development. In 2014, they also had a short stint as a Software Engineer at Machine Zone, Inc.

More recently, from October 2020, Ilya has been serving as a Senior Software Engineer at 2GIS, a local search service.

Ilya Ivanov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) between 2003 and 2007. Ilya then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution and completed it between 2007 and 2009.
