Josh McDowell

Josh McDowell is an experienced geotechnical engineer with a robust background in offshore and onshore geotechnical consultancy. Currently serving as Principal Geotechnical Engineer at 2H Offshore since August 2022, Josh previously held roles such as Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Package Lead Engineer for Seabed Intervention on the Balder Future Project at Ocean Installer. With previous experience at Acteon Geo-services, Gardline Limited, and UTEC Geomarine, Josh has developed expertise in various aspects of geotechnical engineering, including foundation analyses, site characterisation, and project management assistance. A graduate of Abertay University with a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering, Josh's professional journey began as a Graduate Offshore Geotechnical Engineer at Geoquip Marine Group.
