Jan Taimr

Jan Taimr is an experienced R&D Manager currently at 2N since July 2023. Previously, Jan held the position of Head of Application Development and Maintenance at BNP Paribas Cardif from April 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included leading a division of 70 staff and overseeing the development and operations of core systems and IT services across Europe. Jan's project expertise encompasses driving agile transformation, managing crisis situations during the COVID-19 lockdowns, and implementing IT Governance frameworks. Earlier roles include serving as Application Manager for Continental Europe and Head of Business Intelligence Infrastructure at Komerční banka, with a focus on BI infrastructure operations and development. Jan began the professional career as an IT System Administrator at Synthon and earned a degree in Information Systems and Technologies from Prague University of Economics and Business from 2007 to 2012.
