Jana O'Connor

Jana O'Connor has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to industrial engineering, production engineering, and manufacturing planning. Their most recent role was as an Industrial Lead at 2N starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Production Engineering Manager at Magna International from January to April 2022. From 2020 to 2021, they served as an Industrial Engineering Director at AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE a.s. Jana gained extensive experience working at GE Aviation from 2015 to 2020, holding positions such as Leader of Production Engineering and Head of Component Production Engineering. Their responsibilities involved leading teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth production and quality. Earlier in their career, they worked at Continental in roles such as New Product Launch Department Manager, Manufacturing Planning Manager, Teamleader, and Specialist. Throughout their career, Jana has demonstrated a strong focus on process optimization, lean approaches, and technological documentation.

Jana O'Connor attended the Mechanical Secondary School in Frýdek-Místek from 1990 to 1994. Then, they studied Mechanical Technology with a view to economy at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
