Syed Raza

Syed Raza, PhD, currently serves as the Head of AI at 2nd Order Solutions, leading the firm's AI practice and advising banks on AI strategy and Responsible AI. With extensive experience in data science, Syed has held various leadership roles including Director and Senior Manager of Data Science, managing credit research departments and producing reports on industry trends. Previous positions include Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist, where Syed focused on developing machine learning models for credit risk and lending strategies. Additional experience includes a brief tenure at the Quantum Open Source Foundation and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. Syed holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Virginia, a Bachelor's in Physics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, and A-Levels from Lahore Grammar School.
