Brant Knützen

Brant Knützen, EdD, is a faculty lecturer at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, focusing on Educational Technology since January 2024. With extensive experience in online education, Brant serves as Head Instructor for an online course on "Online and Hybrid Learning Design" through 2U and has been an Associate Instructor for a Higher Education Teaching Certificate course from Harvard University since 2020. As a Senior Educational Consultant for Global Educational Consulting, Brant contributes to various projects, including tutoring for HarvardX. Previous roles include lecturer at The University of Hong Kong, where Brant developed and taught various courses related to technology and education, and educational designer at Lingnan University. Brant holds a Doctorate of Education and a Master's degree in IT in Education from The University of Hong Kong, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton.
