Julian B. has extensive experience in security and procurement management, with a current role as a Cloud Security Engineer III and previously as a DevSecOps Engineer at 2U since June 2019, focusing on security projects within the Site Reliability Engineering team. Prior to 2U, Julian was a Security Operations Analyst at Thrive, responsible for managing the procurement life cycle and assisting with client specifications. Julian's background includes procurement roles at Precision IT Group, where responsibilities included working with vendors and tracking orders, as well as earlier positions as a Broadcast Engineer and an Instructional Support/Project Development Assistant. Julian holds a BS in Computer Security Systems/Criminal Justice from Farmingdale State College and an AAS in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Westchester Community College.
